JESSE RHODES: CEO

Jesse Rhodes has been in the construction business for over 25 years. He served his apprenticeship with Ireland, Robinson, and Hadley (one of the premier home builders in all of California, specializing in homes exclusively in Tiburon and Belvedere). Jesses first project essentially put him on the map, The Blanding estate located in the Belvedere neighborhood of Marin. Over the next 20 years Jesse spent his time working with The Giampolini Group. In stride of his dedication for his career he became the youngest Partner and Senior Vice President the company has ever had.

Throughout his career Jesse has been fortunate enough to have worked on a handful of Julia Morgan and Maybach Historic homes in San Francisco. He was also a Part of the renovation team for The Flood building and the Pacific Union Club and countless others with known historic significance.

In 1999 he introduced PB Development Construction Services. As CEO of the company he works one on one in all aspects of each project. Jesse leaves nothing unaccompanied, from establishing cost control, to in-house design, project management and engineering his passion is the art and fine detail of creating high end homes. He has recently created a buzz for his focus on period theme homes that sold in the many million dollar range. Earning him the 2006 Marin Showcase. His second showcase to date.

Jesse also proudly served as cultural affairs commissioner of San Rafael for five years serving as chairman of the commission. Which over saw the permitting process for the restoration of landmark homes and buildings in San Rafael. Focusing on homes on the Historical California Registry.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County Jesse has established himself in countless ways in the community. He is a proud father to his lovely family, and a respected business man working to constantly improve his surroundings.

 

DAN GILLIES: PRESIDENT

Graduating from UC Davis with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Dan moved into his field obtaining his registered professional license. First working in concrete construction as a Project Manager, he quickly worked his way into senior management, establishing and managing multiple projects on several islands in Hawaii.

With a seventeen and a half year career with Ryan and Associates, (creating unique homes for exclusive clients) Dan’s precision and focus earned him the position of Vice President of Ryan and Associates.

Joining PB Development in the beginning of 2007 as President of the company, Dan continues to perfect his craft. Dan and Jesses combined knowledge and experience is rare.

Raised in Napa California, Dan lives in Marin with his wife Ellen and his two boys. In the past ten years he has become a valued member of the community, volunteering his time as a board member to The Y.M.C.A in Pt. Bonita, as well as serving on the leader board for the business forum at Dominican University. In his spare time he is usually taking in family time, coaching little league and raising his boys.
